Expanding our Editorial team to better serve our customers

Burbank, CA, June 7, 2007 - Advanced Publishing Technology has hired Mark McKillop as an Editorial Project Manager. He will be managing individual projects in the Editorial division.

Wolfi Frank, APT’s Prepress Operations Manager states, “This was done to accommodate the extensive demand for our new Falcon Editorial system that supports InDesign, InCopy and is cross platform compatible.”

Mark comes to APT with over 15 years experience in the Newspaper and Publishing Industry. His background and interest in journalism led him to jobs as Reporter and then Editor at several newspapers. During Mark’s professional career he has branched out to become an online editor, programmer, website designer and worked in technical support as well.

Mark was introduced to APT when the software was known as ACT. And he was reacquainted with the software and eventually the Falcon Editorial System at his most recent job as Editor at the New Bern Sun Journal. He brings APT customers first-hand knowledge of using the Falcon Editorial System in the newsroom.

Mark received his bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Florida. He loves sports and anything technical. Mark resides in North Carolina with his wife, Candice, and two children, Tina and Carson.
