Fresh Technology for the Digital Age
Our customers depend on APT to provide new products and new ideas that will help them shape their future and grow their businesses in this changing world. So this is a perfect time to rededicate ourselves to our mission and to our customers by providing innovative products, services and business leadership! To do this APT must embrace new technology and reinvent ourselves to meet these challenges to remain relevant, beneficial and cost effective for our customers. In fact we believe that focusing on our core mission, “Providing excellent products and services to our customers” will bring long term results. To make and keep this commitment, APT will be introducing several new products this year at Nexpo. APT’s marketing and sales team will be at Nexpo to announce our new digital media products while the support, development and project delivery teams will remain at home to stay focused on those things that matter to our customers. We will be located in Conference Room #3, Booth 1891. Please join us for the festivities.
Profound and disruptive market shifts are forcing publishers to rethink their approach to how they must deliver news and advertising to their market. There are numerous issues facing newsrooms, advertising departments and distribution centers during the transition into the new digital age. These include challenges like locating and attracting new advertisers and subscribers, gathering, managing and distributing content and becoming even more relevant to all of their customers.
The publishing industry is looking to the vendor community for leadership and innovative new products that will help them meet current and future business challenges. These changes are not being driven by the industry or technology they are being driven by the consumer.
This requires Fresh Technology based on digital solutions. Web 2.0 is a technical term that is driving technology choices and it introduces new and evolving innovations that will have an impact on how you do your job and run your business. APT’s new Web 2.0 technologies will refresh enterprise systems by incorporating social networking, personalized content and collaborative workspaces and by fundamentally changing the way information is produced and shared. Making information easier to find and share, drives profitability.
The new APT will offer better ways to find and deliver critical business knowledge to the right person, at the right time. APT will assist customers in implementing portal and integrated applications by bridging systems, process and people. Our collaboration and content systems will give users the personalized business knowledge they need to be innovative, work productively, reduce IT costs and make effective decisions. APT is partnering with companies that support our vision and in the next 30 days APT will release a new marketing application that will pinpoint opportunities that will deliver immediate results. The percentage of the market using mobile devises is on a steady increase and we plan to assist our customers in turning these once passive consumers of information into active participants as citizen journalists, advertisers that place ads using our all new Online Ad Entry system and then actively searching the classified section of your web sites.
Simplicity----not complexity---will drive our transition to digital.
APT's 2007 Technology Forum will be held October 11-12, 2007 in Burbank, CA. The Technology Forum will offer multiple perspectives on each of the systems and hands-on workshop sessions.
